Privacy policy

Wholesale orders: your name, phone number, email address, business name if you give one, any notes, and the items you ask for.

Restaurant account requests: the restaurant name, your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and any notes.

Restaurant orders placed through a private ordering link: the items ordered, notes and the contact email entered.

Newsletter signups: your email address.

Basic technical information that every website receives, such as your IP address, which we use only to limit abuse (for example, too many requests in a minute).

To prepare your order, call you to confirm prices and pickup, and send you a copy by email.

To set up and run restaurant accounts.

To send the newsletter you signed up for. We will not add you to it from an order or a request.

To keep the site working and protected from spam.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use advertising trackers.

We use a few service providers to run the site, and they handle data only on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Supabase (our database, in the United States) and Resend (sending order emails).

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

The public site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Staff sign-in for our back office uses a cookie that is needed for it to work.

If we measure visits, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.

Your wholesale order is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it is still there if you reload the page. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.

We keep order and account records as long as we need them to run the business and meet tax and accounting rules. Newsletter emails are kept until you ask to be removed.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we have to keep it for legal or accounting reasons. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, reply to any newsletter email or call us.

The site is meant for adults placing orders for their households or businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
